Withdrawal Policy
1. Purpose: The withdrawal policy of the Liberal Journal of Management & Social Science is designed to provide guidelines and procedures for authors who wish to withdraw their manuscripts from consideration after submission. This policy ensures transparency, fairness, and ethical conduct in the publication process.
2. Withdrawal Criteria: Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript under the following circumstances:
- The manuscript is found to be in violation of ethical standards.
- The authors discover a major error or omission that significantly impacts the integrity of the research.
- The manuscript is under consideration elsewhere or has been previously published.
3. Withdrawal Process: Authors wishing to withdraw their manuscript must adhere to the following process:
- Submit a formal withdrawal request to the editorial office via email, clearly stating the reasons for withdrawal.
- The withdrawal request should be sent by the corresponding author and co-authors (if any), providing their explicit consent for withdrawal.
- Include the manuscript ID, title, and the names of all authors in the withdrawal request.
4. Editor's Decision: The withdrawal request will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned handling editor. The decision to grant withdrawal will be based on the validity of the reasons provided. If the withdrawal is approved, the manuscript will be officially withdrawn from the review and publication process.
5. Ethical Considerations: Authors are reminded to adhere to ethical guidelines during the submission and publication process. Any attempt to manipulate the withdrawal process for unethical reasons may result in appropriate actions, including informing relevant institutions and organizations.
6. Publication Fees: Withdrawal of a manuscript does not exempt authors from any applicable publication fees. The journal's standard publication fee policy applies, and authors are responsible for any incurred costs up to the point of withdrawal.
7. Notification to Co-Authors: In the case of manuscript withdrawal, the corresponding author is responsible for informing all co-authors about the decision and the reasons behind it. Communication among authors is crucial to maintain transparency and ethical standards.
8. Re-submission: If authors wish to re-submit the manuscript in the future, it must undergo a new submission process. Re-submitted manuscripts will be subject to the standard peer review process.
9. Reviewer and Editorial Board Consideration: The decision to withdraw a manuscript will be communicated to the reviewers and the editorial board. Feedback from reviewers may be considered in future submissions by the same authors.
10. Amendments to the Withdrawal Policy: The editorial board reserves the right to amend this withdrawal policy as needed. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to authors through the journal's website and other relevant channels.
