1. Introduction: The Liberal Journal of Management & Social Science (LJMSS) is committed to promoting scholarly research and fostering knowledge dissemination in the fields of management and social science. To ensure the ethical use and distribution of published content, LJMSS has established this Licensing Policy.
2. Licensing Options: LJMSS adopts an open-access publishing model to maximize the accessibility and impact of scholarly works. Authors retain the copyright to their original work and are required to choose a licensing option during the submission process. LJMSS offers the following licensing options:
a. Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY): - Allows others to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and derivative works based upon it, but only if they give the author or licensor the credits in the manner specified by these.
b. Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC): - Allows others to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and derivative works based upon it for non-commercial purposes only, giving the author or licensor the credits in the manner specified by these.
c. Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND): - Allows others to download the works and share them with others as long as they credit the author, but they can’t change them in any way or use them commercially.
3. Author Responsibilities:
- Authors are responsible for selecting the appropriate licensing option during the submission process.
- Authors must ensure that their submissions comply with the selected license.
- Authors should provide proper attribution to previously published works that they incorporate into their submissions.
4. User Rights:
- Users are free to:
- Share – copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt – remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially (depending on the chosen license).
5. Journal Rights:
- LJMSS reserves the right to publish, reproduce, and distribute the accepted and published works in perpetuity.
6. Compliance with Ethical Standards:
- LJMSS expects authors to adhere to high ethical standards in their research and publication practices.
7. Changes to the Licensing Policy:
